Awakening hope in the rising generation amidst ongoing hardship is the mission of Espwa Demen. We desire to pour into Haiti’s youth, helping to foster strong faith, character, and skilled productivity for years to come. As well as give suffering families the tools they need to care for the physical and spiritual needs of their children and community.
Sponsorship
Through our sponsorship program children are able to attend school. And graduates go on to learn a profitable skill to help their family and community thrive.
Medical Clinic
Bringing medical care to a community without a single hospital or clinic. Our team of volunteer doctors and nurses are meeting the needs of those without access to medical care.
Community Improvement
Through ongoing well digging and community shower house projects we have begun to meet the tangible needs of our community. We plan to do even more with future projects.
Church Partnership
Through elderly outreach, Bible study, and assisting with the building of a new house of worship we have joined hands with the faithful Chevri congregation.

When I went to church a few Sundays ago I was discouraged. My husband had just gotten back from Haiti and I kept looking at our bank account willing the numbers to change. I was stressed and tired. Feeling like the personal sacrifices we have been making since before 2020 in Haiti are too great.
Earlier in the week I was out at our property just looking at the empty land and wondering if we will ever get to build a house on it. I am ashamed to say the thought crossed my mind “if we could use our income for only our needs just for a year or two, then maybe we could stand on our own two feet finally”.
