Why Does Espwa Demen Need A Mission Vehicle?

Since the start of Espwa Demen in 2020, the mission has never had its own vehicle. Because of this vehicles have always needed to be borrowed or rented in order to conduct mission activities. This has lead to a large amount of funds being used for transportation that would have been able to put more children in school or help more families. On the last mission trip to Haiti in October of 2025 it became apparent that with the large area Espwa Demen is now working in as well as the distance our mission base is from the only functioning airport in Haiti, we can no longer make do with borrowing a vehicle.

A mission vehicle will;

  1. Provide secure transportation for our team

  2. Allow for more frequent home visits to the families in our network

  3. Cut down on logistics costs exponentially allowing our other programs to grow

  4. Make trip planning less time consuming as transportation in Haiti is tricky

What is Needed?

Purchasing an SUV in good condition in Haiti will cost roughly around $15,000 US. Building a garage facility to park it securely and keep it out of the weather, plus licensing it will be $2,000 in addition. We hope to finish fundraising for this need by the first week of May, 2026. The total need is $17,000

We Can’t Do it Without You!

Any amount you give will be a huge blessing to Espwa Demen Mission and our growing community in rural Haiti. Your generosity can motivate friends, family, and colleagues to contribute as well. We cannot do it without you! If you aren’t able to give financially, you can still be a part of meeting this need. Sharing this page with others, spreading the word, and keeping the mission in your prayers can each go a long way to helping.
